Jana Kramer became famous on television, where she played Alex in the One Tree Hill series' final three years. The series featured her first release as a country artist, propelling her 2012 debut album in the Billboard 200 to the Top 20. Her follow-up 2015's Thirty One reached the Top Ten. The decade ended by performances for Dancing with the Stars. Voices, a self-doubting album was released in 2021. Jana Rae Kramer is a Michigan native who was raised by country music. While she was pursuing the acting and recording professions, her debut on screen took place in the independent horror movie Dead/Undead (2002) when she was still at high school. Through the years, she appeared on several shows including All My Children and CSI: NY before landing the part as Noelle Davenport in NBC's Friday Night Lights' second season (2007-2008). Kramer appeared in 90210 between 2008 and 2009 as Portia and Brooke Manning before joining One Tree Hill on the CW in 2009, where she played the role of Alex Dupre. Her appearance on the show until 2012 when the series was cancelled. The song was released in 2012. the song was released as a single on Jana Kramer - her first album. It was a part of the Top Five of the Billboard Top Country Albums chart. She remained focused on her career in music following that, and not resigning from acting she was a part of films such as Heart of the Country 2013 and Country Crush 2016 that would appeal to her music fanbase. Kramer released her sophomore album of her own, Thirty One with Warner Music Nashville, in October of 2015. The album was helped by Kramer's Top Five country song I Got the Boy and also in a duet featuring Steven Tyler from Aerosmith. The album climbed to third place among the Billboard 200 country charts and at number 10 on the Billboard 200. Starting in September 2016, she spent two months in the 23rd season of Dancing with the Stars, which ended with an overall fourth-place finish. The same year she was also a part of an adult contemporary hit by releasing Feels Like Christmas which featured Straight No Chaser.
