Ana Paula Oliveira bio

Ana Paula Oliveira is a Brazilian actress born on the 26th of May, 1978, in Campinas Sao Paulo. She's appeared in Woman on Top (2000), Sem Fio (2009) as well as A Indomada (2000). Ana Paula Oliveira was appointed as a member of The Global Initiative Against Transnational Organized Crime until March 2020. She manages the Assassination Witness Project, and is an integral part of the multilateral GI-TOC engagement. Her research at the GI-TOC is focused on disappearances, assassinations and other forms of violence, particularly in the context of illicit markets. Her research interests are in the impact of organized crime on law, policy and law relating in relation to human rights. Ana Paula has an LL.M. Cum laude (with honors) in International Law from the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies, Geneva. She also holds an LL.M. on Public Law, as well as an MBA in international relations at Fundacao Getulio Vargas. Ana Paula is a graduate of her school at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro with the degree of magnacum laude with a degree in Legal and Social Sciences. After four years of working time at an international law firm, she has been certified as an attorney. Her previous experience includes has worked for non-governmental organisations based at Rio de Janeiro as well as Geneva.
